WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE!!!

I made this site to have, as a lot of people in Neocities put it, "my own little corner on the internet" something that I made with my own two hands!. I've been fixated on the old web for a while now, old viruses and malware, forums, but especially the aesthetics of the early internet and all the cool-looking (and also sometimes tacky, but thats part of the charm, trust) websites people made back in the day.

This has been said about a thousand times now BUT... nowadays everything looks and pretty much feels the same. Corporate, minimal and BORINGG. The only customization you get in most websites is a profile picture and maybe a banner you can never figure out the dimensions for.

I figured I'd stop just crying about it and actually make something cool like THIS WEBSITE RIGHT HERE!!! I may be stuck in the past but at least I learned a new skill while doing it.

My name is Gabriel, I'm a Genderqueer Transman and I go by He/They/It/Xe pronouns. I am Mexican and my fisrt language is spanish!! yay!!

I started coding HTML and CSS about a year ago when I messed around with templates made by people on sites like spacehey and toyhou.se, then eventually I discovered neocities and made a site using Sadgrl's layout builder and slightly editing the code until I got the first version of my website. After a few months I finally got the motivation to make a website out of scratch so I made a codepen account and got to coding! :)
